10 Orlando Food Events in December


The holidays are just around the corner, which means lots of time spent at home with family, friends and food. In the meantime, get out and see what Orlando has to offer during the month of December!

The Sanford Historic Trust is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its annual Holiday Tour of Homes on December 1st from 3pm-9pm. This walking tour showcases the best of holiday decor in Sanford.

Morimoto Asia is having its inaugural 12 Beers of Christmas event on December 2nd from 11:30am-3:30pm. Hosted by Chef Morimoto himself, there will be holiday brews paired with pan-Asian bites.

Edible Orlando’s monthly Chic Chef Series cooking event is happening at Bloomingdale’s on December 4th at 11:30am. This time around, learn how to make holiday breakfast dishes—including farmhouse hash, avocado toast, kale tonic and chia pudding—with Chef Harry Lohr from First Watch.

The Edible Education Experience Chef Night for the month of December is Juicember. This event, which takes place on December 6th from 6-8:30pm, features Chef Sarah Cahill, who will teach you how to make healthy juices, smoothies, and meals.

Join the UF Extension of Orange County to learn about the history of tomatoes, how to grow them, and which types are best in the Central Florida climate. This event will take place on two dates: December 8th from 9-10:30am, and December 13th from 6-7:30pm.

The city of Clermont is hosting a Wine and Chocolate Festival December 7th-9th from 10am-5pm. Enjoy winery tours, pairings of chocolate and wine, live music, and more. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida.

TastyChomps is hosting its second Ramen Rumble on December 10th from 6-9pm. Three local Orlando chefs will participate in a cooking competition to raise money for their favorite charities.

On December 10th at 6:30pm, the Orlando Public Library is hosting Chef Farah Davids, who will share her favorite holiday recipes for the Cuisine Corner’s Holiday Open House.

Stardust Video & Coffee is once again hosting a unique event called the Grandma Party Bazaar. On December 16th from 10am until sundown, stop by Stardust to browse holiday gifts, vintage clothes, cards, skincare, food, drinks, and more. There will also be live music and local artists.

Learn how to cook healthy versions of your favorite holiday dishes at Breaking Bread with Mira on December 19th. Chef Mira will teach you about the relationship between clean eating and your health, followed by learning how to cook some tasty and healthy dishes.
