10 Orlando Food Events in March


While some may be preparing for spring break, Orlando isn’t taking a break from local food and drink events! From a dog-friendly beer festival to farm tours, there’s plenty to do this month.

  1. Experience a unique event on Friday, March 22nd, where you can meet your local Seminole County farmers. The Seminole County Farm Tour includes a bus tour, five farmer led visits, and a farm to table lunch.
  2. On March 4th, the Orlando Public Library is presenting a Farm to Cup event with Lineage Coffee. You will learn how to pick the best beans for roasting and brewing.
  3. Come support the James Beard Foundation WEL Program at the Women in the Kitchen event on Sunday, March 10th. Taking place in the orchards of Lake Meadow Naturals Farm, enjoy a four-course dinner and signature cocktails, as well as live music.
  4. The 8th annual Pints ‘N Paws is happening in Sanford on Saturday, March 23rd. This is a pet-friendly event that will feature craft brews, food trucks, and entertainment. All profits from the event benefit Dolly’s Foundation and Pet Rescue by Judy!
  5. Avalon Park is hosting the 2nd annual Rotary Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, March 9th. There will be food trucks, unlimited craft beer tasting samples, and live music.
  6. The 5th annual Orlando Whiskey Festival is happening at Mercedes-Benz of Orlando. On Saturday, March 9th, sample close to 100 whiskey brands, along with gourmet menu selections to eat. There will also be an outside lounge with live entertainment and cigar vendors.
  7. Interested in learning how to enhance your meals with various herbs? On Saturday, March 16th, head to the Harry P. Leu Gardens for The Kitchen Garden: Cooking with Herbs event. Learn how to make sweet and savory dishes, while focusing on the flavoring of herbs.
  8. Join the Edible Education Experience Chef Nightwith Ethos Vegan Kitchen on Thursday, March 14th. The head chef and owner of Ethos will teach you how to cook a delicious spread of Irish vegan food.
  9. From now until March 10th, the Florida Strawberry Festival is happening in Plant City. From carnival rides to live entertainment, and of course, lots and lots of strawberries, there’s something for everyone at this festival.
  10. Enjoy the Beard In Baldwin Food and Wine Festival on Saturday, March 30th. This event benefits the James Beard Foundation National Scholars Program. 25 local restaurants are offering flavorful dishes paired with wine, beer, and cocktails, with the option to have a VIP experience at The Osprey Tavern.
