Ever wondered how to make Chef Art Smith’s Pimento Cheese? This video will show you how easy it is!
A two-time James Beard Foundation award winner, Chef Art Smith was Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef for 10 years. He’s also a sixth-generation Floridian. His Disney Springs restaurant, Homecomin’ Kitchen, is a nod to Chef Art’s return to Walt Disney World after his first cast role in the Disney College Program in 1981.
His pimento cheese is served at Homecomin’ with house-made hush puppies, or at brunch, on the Hallelujah Biscuit with fried chicken, over-easy eggs, pecan-smoked bacon and sawmill gravy. It’s an easy, fun, totally Southern addition to an appetizer spread or even a charcuterie board. Serve with Saltines or Club crackers, celery, or pretzel chips.
