For all you food-loving philanthropists looking for a new way to support a worthy cause, here’s one you won’t want to miss: Lighthouse Central Florida and Second Harvest Food Bank have teamed up to create Dining in the Dark, a unique, sensory-driven dining event on Thursday, May 8.
Hosted at Second Harvest Food Bank (411 Mercy Drive, Orlando), the event features a multi-course dinner served completely in the dark by members of Orlando Police Department’s SWAT team, who donate their time for the evening.
Immersed in total blindness, diners must rely completely on their other senses oas they navigate the night’s fare.
Tickets, which are $125 per person including cocktails, dinner and drinks, support both Lighthouse Central Florida and Second Harvest Food Bank. Click here to purchase.
