Fall on the Farm: Celebrating the Food of Central Florida

Ready to enjoy some family-friendly fall fun? Head to Whisper Creek Farm at Grande Lakes Orlando! Located on the hotel property, this 18,000 square-foot farm is hosting “Fall on the Farm” every Saturday and Sunday in October from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fall on the Farm at Whisper Creek Farm

As one of the largest farms open to the public in the Orlando area, Whisper Creek Farm includes a vast assortment of fruits, vegetables, and herbs as well as chicken, ducks, and quail. Additionally, the apiary produces honey for Grande Lakes Orlando’s restaurants and eateries. Be sure to check it out during the event!

Locals and guests of The Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando can celebrate autumn as they take a hayride and pick pumpkins. Plus, Olympic medalist and two-time World Champion culinary artist and carver, Victor Dagatan, will host pumpkin carving and painting workshops. Additionally, kids will love playing corn hole, running through the maze, and completing seasonal arts and crafts. Lastly, the resort’s Master Falconer will teach attendees about these magnificent birds.

Now is the perfect time to start checking gifts off of your Christmas list too! Head to the farmers market to pick up some locally-produced and homemade items, like honey, Surplus Beer, jams, and barbecue sauces and rubs. After a busy shopping trip, grab a seasonal treat from one of the eateries at Grande Lakes Orlando
