Every October, Long and Scott Farms welcomes the public to their main attraction: a 6.5 acre corn maze.
Admission includes access to the maze as well as the permanent tree maze, rope maze, labyrinth, mist maze, super slide, jumping pillow, zip line, playground and more; no admission is required to enter the cafe, produce market or gift shop.
There is not only plenty to do at the farm, there’s plenty to learn as well. The sponsor for this year’s maze is AgAmerica Lending, a Florida-based ag loan lender, and they have partnered with the farm to advocate for agriculture and raise awareness for family farms such as Long and Scott’s. If you try some of their produce (especially the corn and cucumbers), you won’t ever want to buy conventional produce at the store again. There is truly a difference in freshness, and it feels good to know that you are supporting local growers.
The maze is open for general admission on Saturdays and Sundays through December 9; tickets available online for $12 (free for kids 3 and under). 26216 County Road 448A, Mount Dora
