Farm to Market
Saturday, May 17
A true farm market with fresh produce direct from Osceola growers will put local harvest front and center at the Farm to Market event presented by Osceola County Grown at 5700 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in St Cloud. Besides loads of freshly picked produce, the event will host local chefs doing tastings, artisan crafters and crafts and activities for kids. Admission is free.
Sweet Corn Jamboree
Long & Scott Farm, Zellwood
May 17 & 18
10am – 5pm
Celebrate the corn harvest with a down home party featuring live local entertainment, craft and food vendors, access to Scott’s Maze Adventure Playground, and scores of fresh, hot ears of the famous Scott’s Zellwood sweet corn. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for kids 5-12 (age 4 & under free).
The Cook & The Book
New Smyrna Beach Civic Center, 223 Flagler Avenue
May 17 & 18
Our own Pam Brandon will be one of 8 presenters at this foodie fete in New Smyrna where attendees can watch as each cookbook author demonstrates a recipe from their cookbook. At night, special participating restaurants (including Spanish River Grill) “adopt” the cookbook authors and feature items from their cookbooks for patrons to enjoy. Admission is free.
Brunch in the Pasture
Lake Meadow Naturals

Growing Synergy Foods and NORMAN’S at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, have teamed up to host “Brunch in the Pasture,” a farm-to-table experience designed to connect local families with local food. Held out on the picturesque pasture at Lake Meadow Naturals, this delicious gathering will also give attendees the chance to stock up on fresh eggs and meats available for purchase in the farm store. Tickets are $25 per person; $10 per child under 12.
