Freshpoint offers wholesale produce, meat and more at Weekly Market To Go events

Pickup is in the parking lot of Swann Hadley Stump Dietrich & Spears at 200 East New England Ave in Winter Park between noon and 2pm.

This week’s boxes include: a burrata box featuring locally made burrata from Dicuru, Waterkist Farm tomatoes and much more; six packs of Zellwood sweet corn from Long & Scott Farms; a bartender’s box with citrus, herbs and juices; a box of assorted veggies for grilling; and several other curated collections to help you get your five servings per day.

There are many ways to eat in Orlando during Coronavirus, and at FreshPoint Market To Go events,  retail customers can order meat, produce and more that was previously available only to restaurants. FreshPoint’s 150,000 square foot facility and fleet of 115 refrigerated trucks (you know you’ve seen them) provide the Central Florida foodservice industry with produce from farms large and small, local and global.

At area events, you can pre-order produce boxes that are either customized or curated. For example, a family box of greens sells for $28 and includes six heads of romaine, two red onions, two seedless cucumbers, two pints of grape tomatoes and two bell peppers. A recent Locally Grown box featured five pounds of Tom West blueberries, five pounds of Mack Farms potatoes, four pounds of Florida Classic Growers oranges and a dozen Lake Meadow Naturals eggs.

They’ve also partnered with Buckhead Meat of Florida to offer meats by the case, from a nine-pound pack of assorted Latin-style cuts of beef for $45 to a five-pound premium steak lover’s pack for $125.

Market to Go Events at the warehouse, which is located at 8801 Exchange Drive, Orlando, FL 32809, will happen at the warehouse every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. For more dates and updates, sign up for their email list HERE or visit their Facebook page.

Here’s how it works:

• Choose from available boxes on this flyer and choose between meat and build-a-box produce. Latin Favorites and Locally Grown boxes are also available, with items changing based on seasonal availability.

• Email [email protected] (there’s no need to fill out the form) to place your order by noon the day prior to the market. You’ll receive an email to confirm your order.

• Pick up anytime between 10am and 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday, or from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.

• All orders will be brought out to your car by their shipping team, where the payment will be collected (debit/credit cards preferred).
