As always, local chefs are ready to help you celebrate Mom, no matter what. This year they’re offering array of carefully crafted to-go menus for Mother’s Day brunch in Orlando. Take and Make
Kits for waffle boards (pictured) and bagel boards are available for delivery or curbside pickup at Tapa Toro. Both are priced at $69 and feed from four to six people.
Email Amy Hernandez at [email protected] by Thursday to reserve a Mother’s Day Dinner Package from Talk of The Town to pick up at Charley’s Steak House on Saturday. For $120, you’ll receive five uncooked filet mignons, one bottle of red wine and one sweet butter cake. The package also includes a $25 gift card for Mom to use when they reopen their restaurants.
FreshPoint Central Florida has added a special “Mom-osa” Box to their weekly Market to Go events. $35 gets you a gallon of Lambeth Groves orange juice, a pint of pomegranate juice, a pound of strawberries and a half pint each of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
Order from Luke’s by Wednesday to pickup on Saturday. Their brunch for four to six is $150 and includes monkey bread, muffins, kale salad, shrimp cocktail with salsa verde, broccoli and aged cheddar frittata, crab cakes and pork belly hash.
The Mother’s Day Special for four at DoveCote is $149.95 and includes butter lettuce salad with whole grain mustard vinaigrette, shrimp cocktail, roasted lemon thyme chicken, glazed carrots, roasted fingerling potatoes, biscuits with whipped butter, vanilla Bundt cake with strawberries and a cookie bouquet.
A four to six-person family can enjoy brunch from LUMA on Park for $155. Smoked salmon, pastries, asparagus salad, marinated beets with quinoa and goat feta, grit cake with green tomato chutney, roasted cauliflower tart and crab and mushroom cake are all included. Order by Thursday for Saturday pickup.
Arthur’s Creative Events & Catering is preparing a brunch for four to six for $155 that includes croissant French toast, roasted veggie frittata, curry chicken salad, smoked salmon, arugula and blueberry salad and strawberry shortcake. Order by Wednesday to pickup on Saturday.
Mix and Match
Chef Shantell Williams (pictured) is offering pick-up meals starting at $17 per person for those who don’t score a seat outside at Shantell’s Just Until. Mains include beef tips, bakes chicken, honey ham and fried chicken or fish. Family-style sides include garlic mashed potatoes, wild rice pilaf, baked mac and cheese, candied yams, collards, stewed green beans and black-eyed peas.
Order by Thursday to pick up on Saturday or Sunday from 1921 Mount Dora. Choose an entrée (ham, gruyere and carmelized shallot quiche, biscuits and gravy or house smoked salmon with everything bagels), two sides (Waldorf salad, homemade yogurt with granola and local blueberries, crispy potatoes or meat platter) and one pastry (glazed krullers, blueberry bars or pecan crumble coffee cake). Cost is $50 for every two people.
Brunch and dinner options at The New Standard are available for pre-order until Thursday. Mains include quiches, pancakes, crab cakes, game hen, rack of lamb or Florida grouper. Each are priced individually either per person or per item (see details HERE). The restaurant will also offer side dish packages for between two and eight people. Additionally, The New Standard has partnered with Tiny Orchid Co. to make the meal pick-up a one-stop-shop by adding orchid arrangements to their Mother’s Day offerings. Customers can choose from three orchid arrangements, ranging from $25 to $75.
Order by Thursday to pick up a feast for four ($75) or eight ($135) for pickup at either Hawkers location on Saturday. Mains include fire roasted chicken, char siu pork shoulder and crispy pork belly. Sides (also available as a standalone feast for four for $40) include Green Papaya & Shrimp Salad, wok-seared tofu with mixed veggies, Sichuan green beans, curry mashed potatoes and basil fried rice.
Call to pre-order take home packages to feed two or four from Soco for Sunday pickup. Choose five sides to accompany entrees including herb-roasted Lake Meadow Naturals chicken, garlic-rubbed prime rib or sweet pea and lemon ricotta tart.
Big Fin Seafood Kitchen is offering a three-course dinner for $30 for curbside pickup or delivery from May 8-10. Menu includes choice of salad and dessert along with either a braised pork shank with risotto or prime center cut filet and cold-water lobster tail with garlic mashed potatoes.
Pre-order brunch items including chicken pie, bacon Swiss scramble and beef tenderloin with eggs from Bites & Bubbles for pickup between 10am and 1pm on Sunday.
Brunch or dinner for four for $85 is available at Marlow’s Tavern. Order by noon on Thursday to pick up on Saturday or Sunday at the Oviedo, Lee Vista or Waterford Lakes locations. Both menus include an array of sides plus a sweet and a choice of one (brunch) or two (dinner) entrees.
Delaney’s Tavern has several carry-out brunch items to please Mom, from griddle cakes with creme anglaise to prime rib with poblano and onion hash with cauliflower gratin.
