Mother’s Day is May 12th, and what better way to celebrate than with a delicious brunch or dinner here in Orlando? From festive to fancy, there are plenty of options for Mother’s Day dining in Orlando that Mom and the whole family will love.
Enjoy a rocking brunch at The Hard Rock Hotel’s main restaurant, The Kitchen. With an omelette station, build-your-own parfait station, pineapple-preserve glazed smoked ham and other breakfast classics, there’s something for everyone. For the little ones, there’s pancake and cookie decorating. 9am – 2pm.
For the first time ever, Taverna Opa will have a Greek-inspired brunch buffet. Indulge in Santorini shrimp, gyro hash, roast beef, and Greek donuts. 10am – 3pm; $35 per adult, $15 per child.
Tapa Toro offers a buffet with Spanish-style dishes such as paella and fennel pork sausage. There’s also music and flamenco dancing, and moms drink free. 10am – 3pm; $42 per adult, $15 per child.
Celebrate Mom at Rosen Shingle Creek. The menu at Cafe Osceola ranges from Asian specialties, to coffee and brown sugar-crusted beef brisket, to broiled mahi-mahi. They even have a kids station and a chocolate fountain. Unlimited champagne and mimosas are available for the adults. 10am – 6pm; $69.95 per adult, $29.95 per child.
The Alfond Inn is offering brunch with two seating options. Their menu features chicken and waffles with bourbon syrup, BBQ rubbed salmon, sundried tomato and basil risotto and much more. Seatings at 10am and 1pm; $69 per adult, $29 per child.
Maria and Enzo’s is serving up brunch, Italian style. Enjoy brioche French toast, a live-action carving station, a chocolate fountain and other classic Italian dishes. 9:30am – 3pm; $45 per adult, $20 per child.
In addition to their regular lunch menu, The Edison will also offer a curated selection of à la carte specials. This includes a spicy chorizo frittata, the Edison egg burger, and the breakfast taco. Seating starts at 10:30am.
Enjoy a culinary escape with a Cuban-style buffet at Cuba Libre. Highlights from the menu include piña colada french toast, Cuban-spiced pork loin, vegetable paella and a variety of desserts. 11am – 4pm; $39.95 per adult, $12.95 per child.
For a tropical vibe, head to Margaritaville Resort’s restaurant, On Vacation. They are serving a three-course menu of specialty dishes all day long. 11am – 8pm.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is serving a decadent brunch. They are featuring special dishes such as filet mignon benedict, butter-poached lobster benedict and prime rib, all paired with their wine list. 11am – 2pm.
If after-dark dining is more your thing, try American Kitchen at B Resort and Spa. The Chef’s special dinner entree (pictured above) includes Florida lobster with potato galette, asparagus, caviar butter sauce and a Champagne pairing. $32 per entree.
The Fresh Market’s Meals on a Mission fundraiser takes place during the entire month of May. Their special event “Cupcakes for Mom” will be on May 11th, and allows guests to purchase and decorate a gourmet cupcake for mom. A dollar from each cupcake purchase will go to Feeding America. 12pm – 4pm; $3 per cupcake.
