Orlando’s foodie fanatics will be thrilled to hear about Cuisine Corner, the culinary-focused edicational series presented at the Orange County Library.

“The Orange County Library System’s new Cuisine Corner series responds to the growing interest in all things culinary,” say Jessica Pinkowski, Assistant Manager – Adult Programs Department. “It definitely appeals to all the foodies out there as well as showcases the talents of local chefs.”

The ongoing series will feature two summer events and will continue in the fall with additional programming. Here’s what’s on deck:

Homemade Jams and Jellies
Orlando Public Library, Cypress Room
Tuesday, July 15, 6 p.m.
Virginia Hartley, owner of Ginger’s Jams, Jellies and Such, will share delicious tips for making homemade jellies and jams. There will be samples to savor too.

Artisan Cheeses
Orlando Public Library, Cypress Room
Saturday, July 19, 2:30 p.m.
Tonda from La Femme Du Fromage (located in the East End Market) will share her savvy about cheeses and how to make your own perfect artisan cheese plate.
