Join local-food luminaries from from throughout Florida and beyond for an inspiring, interactive two-day immersion exploring the ways we can grow our food scene on a local level. Panel discussions and workshops on three tracks — organic growing, permaculture and entrepreneurship — as well as networking sessions, keynote, and a harvest dinner. Pre-event registration is available online. $175 for workshops both days, Friday dinner and Saturday happy hour; $125 for Friday workshops and dinner; $45 for Friday dinner only; $90 for Saturday workshops and happy hour.

Hula-Licious Food Truck Culinary Cook-Off

More than 60 food trucks (including Caro-Bama BBQ, pictured above) will converge at Pines of Windermere to compete for “Best of” honors in 22 different categories. $5 admission (kids under 12 free) includes free parking and live entertainment, and a $10 wristband will get the little ones access to supervised activities in the Kids Zone. Presented by the UCF student chapter of the National Association of Catering Events
