Maitland Farmers Market

Tucked away behind Lake Lily, the Maitland Farmers Market is one of the smaller and more quiet markets in the area. There aren’t endless rows of vendors like some of the larger markets, but there is still a great selection of local items. Open every Sunday, this market is great for a more relaxed pace and a shorter trip. One of its highlights is the beautiful lake view, with plenty of picnic tables to sit at and enjoy your market findings. It’s definitely kid friendly, with a playground right next to all the vendors. There is live music, and a path to walk your dogs. They offer everything from produce, to handmade soaps, to chair massages. While this is a traditional farmers market, the atmosphere is much more laid back than other markets, making it the perfect way to spend your Sunday.

Look For: Freshly ground coffee from Blessed Bean Coffee; smoked fish dip from Captain Jo’s; healthy street food from Korgette; refreshing popsicles from Peak Season Pops; vegan Colombian food from Avenue A Eatery; dressings and marinades from Bulsara’s Original Marinades; bread and baked goods from Olde Hearth Bread Co.; spicy sauces from Sandy’s Melt Your Face Off Peppa Sauce; multiple varieties of honey from Winter Park Honey

Pro Tip: If you’re looking for genuine, local products, this is the market to go to. Most, if not all, of the vendors are from the area.
