Let’s be honest: The holidays are often stressful. From finding the perfect gift to planning the perfect meal, we often put a lot of pressure on ourselves to do everything just right. Well, this year (and every year!), the Edible Orlando team is giving you permission to enjoy yourself. If that means opting for a Thanksgiving dinner to-go or dine-in, then so be it. Below, we rounded-up a few local options for Central Florida residents. Gobble, gobble!
Heirloom by Puff ’N Stuff Catering
Want to feast on an expertly-prepared holiday dinner from the comfort of your own home without the prep work and clean-up? Order a Thanksgiving Family Meal for 4 from Heirloom for $140, and it can be delivered to your door on Tuesday, November 23rd or Wednesday, November 24th. You’ll get grilled artisan bread, butternut squash and greens, carved turkey breast, green beans, roasted potatoes, and classic cornbread stuffing. Plus, desserts ($20-25) and wine ($19) are available to add to your order.
4 Rivers Smokehouse
To start, pick out one of their popular smoked meats. Options include signature angus brisket, smoked turkey, boneless ham, bone-in leg of lamb, prime rib, or smoked salmon. Then, choose some delicious sides. 4 Rivers offers traditional holiday sides as well as some Smokehouse favorites, including sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, BBQ baked beans, and more. Of course, you can’t skip dessert. This year’s selection includes caramel apple pie, pumpkin pie, Texas bourbon pecan pie, coconut cake, and red velvet cake. The Ravenous Pig
The Thanksgiving pick-up menu at this Winter Park gastropub is everything you want in a holiday meal and more. Place your order for a half or whole turkey with cranberry relish and turkey gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato and mushroom casserole, truffle ciabatta loaf, a whole pecan pie, and extra turkey gravy if needed. When it comes to holiday spirits, choose between three options: the Ravenous Pig Bacon-Infused Old Fashioned, Ravenous Pig Gin and Tonic, or Paloma. Wine or beer is available as well.
Thanksgiving Dine-In in Orlando
Raglan Road Irish Pub
For a dine-in option, consider a Thanksgiving meal at Raglan Road Irish Pub. You’ll get butter and herb-roast turkey, roast garlic mashed potatoes, duck fat roasties, honey-glazed carrots, bacon-braised Brussels sprouts, sausage and walnut stuffing, and red wine jus with cranberry sauce. Adults eat for $35.00, and kids eat for $17.50.
Christini’s Ristorante Italiano
For an upscale Thanksgiving with an Italian twist, book a table at Christini’s Ristorante Italiano. Their traditional Thanksgiving menu includes a starter salad or roasted butternut squash stuffed ravioli; North Carolina Heritage Turkey with traditional stuffing, sweet potato puree, haricot vert, and homemade cranberry sauce; and an apple tart or chocolate mascarpone mousse.
The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and reservations are required. Adults are $67.50 each, and children under 12 are $33.75. In addition to the special holiday menu, the restaurant’s a la carte menu will also be available.
Orlando World Center Marriott
If you prefer to celebrate earlier in the day, head to Orlando World Center Marriott for a special Thanksgiving lunch at Latitude & Longitude from 1 to 6 p.m. This buffet-style meal includes herb-roasted turkey, heirloom pumpkin bisque, mascarpone whipped potatoes, and more. Need some more quality family time? The hotel is currently hosting live concerts every Saturday night, followed by a laser show.
Kid-Friendly Thanksgiving Celebrations
Aurora At The Celeste
For a truly memorable experience, head to Orlando and dine in at Aurora At The Celeste. The Thanksgiving menu will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes a three-course meal for $40 or more. Options include roasted sweet potato soup, pork belly slider, or a harvest salad; traditional roast turkey, pan-seared trout horseradish, petite filet medallion and prawn, or roasted acorn squash (all served with sides); and pumpkin mousse, a cheese board, or white drawf. A kids menu is available for guests 11 and under. Reservations are required.
JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa
Here, visitors can pick between two unique Thanksgiving dining experiences. You can book a table for an intimate, three-course meal at Sear + Sea, the hotel’s signature dining venue. The prix fixe dinner costs $135 per person with a $39 wine pairing option. Additionally, kids (ages 4-12) are $50, while those 3 and under are free.
Or head to Unreserved for the holiday buffet, which is open from 12:30 to 8 p.m. This buffet includes extensive traditional offerings, specialty cocktails, and seasonal treats as well as live music. It costs $125 per person. Kids (ages 4-12) cost $45, while those 3 and under are free.
Reservations are required for both options.
Grande Lakes Orlando
If you need a break from Thanksgiving cooking, you’re sure to find something to fit your holiday vision at Grande Lakes Orlando! Celebrate this day of gratitude with a Southern spread at Highball and Harvest. Opt for a three-course family style feast at Knife & Spoon or a la carte farm-to-table offerings at Primo. Or enjoy a holiday buffet with items from Whisper Creek Farm at Citron. Reservations are required for all events. Dine-In Thanksgiving Options in Central Florida
The Historic Dubsdread and The Highland Manor
This year, both properties of Dubsdread Catering (one in Orlando and one in Apopka) will offer a Thanksgiving buffet (reservations required) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The main course includes oven roasted turkey, sage stuffing, and homemade gravy; herb-crusted roasted prime rib and au jus; or honey spice glazed spiral sliced ham. For trimmings, guests can scoop up cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole with pecan marshmallow crust, French green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, and more. Desserts include apple crisp, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry orange crisp, and more. The cost is $44.95 per person and $14.95 for children 10 and under, plus 18% gratuity and tax.
The Alfond Inn at Rollins College
Here, guests can enjoy a chef-inspired Thanksgiving buffet at seatings between noon and 3pm. The cost is $69 per adult and $29 per child (ages 5-12), while children 4 and under eat for free. The menu includes tomato white cheddar bisque with cornbread croutons, seafood pasta salad, herb-seared chicken breast with wild mushroom ragout, and honey glazed carrots as well as more traditional offerings like sweet rolls, whipped potato, and classic stuffing. Complimentary valet parking is available. Reservations are required.
