Latin Food & Wine Festival
October 18 & 19
Cranes Roost Park, Uptown Altamonte
This two-day wine and culinary festival with a Latin twist will feature Savor the Night (tickets from $75), an intimate culinary affair hosting approximately 400 – 600 people, followed by a Grand Tasting on Saturday, October 19 where local restaurants unite to bring more than 20,000+ attendees the best of Latin cuisine. Sunday Supper
Sunday, October 20, 4-8pm
K Restaurant in will host a Sunday supper to benefit the Edible Schoolyard at Orlando Junior Academy. Chefs Kathleen Blake (Rusty Spoon), Henry Salgado (Spanish River Grill and Txokos Spanish Kitchen), Jamie McFadden (Cuisiniers Catering and BarJMe), Shannon Talty (Olde Hearth Bread Co.), and Kevin Fonzo (owner of K) will provide the culinary delights for the night.

Central Florida Veg Fest
Saturday, October 26, 10am-6pm
Orlando Festival Park
The 8th annual Central Florida Veg Fest will be showcasing new products and ideas from over 150 vendors and 100 contributors. Presentations, food preparation demos, and live entertaiment will take place throughout the entire day. Food available for purchase; admission is free. www.cfvegfest.org

Little Griffin Pumpkin Patch
JW Marriott’s Whisper Creek Farm
Saturday, October 26 2-5 pm
It’s harvest time at Whisper Creek Farm and kids are invited to pitch in. Families will walk through the pumpkin patch, carve pumpkins, make pumpkin seed trail mix and drink warm apple cider. $30 for children 12 and younger, must be accompanied by an adult (free of charge). Edible Orlando’s Field to Feast
Sunday, October 27, 4-7 p.m.
Long & Scott Farms, Zellwood
This al fresco feast will showcase the farm-to-fork culinary expertise of award-winning Disney chefs, including Scott Hunnel (Victoria & Albert’s), Brian Piasecki (California Grill), Tim Keating (Flying Fish Café), Frank Brough (The Wave … of American Flavors), Leonard Thomson (Disney Events), Jens Dahlmann (Epcot International Food & Wine Festival), Phillip Ponticelli (Cítricos), and Stefan Riemer (Disney Desserts). Proceeds from this event will be benefitting The Kid’s Café Program of Second Harvest Food Bank Of Central Florida. Tickets $175 each / $325 per couple.
