Enjoy Easter Sunday Dining in Orlando

Easter brunch and dinner are traditionally centered around ham and deviled eggs, but then again, another tradition is spending all Saturday in the kitchen. If you’re already breaking with the norm and looking to enjoy Easter Sunday dining in an Orlando restaurant, there’s ham, but there’s also chicken and waffles or paella or duck or lobster or shakshuka or … you get the idea.

Here’s the places we found around Orlando and Central Florida that are doing something special for Easter Sunday — and one taking care of both Passover and Easter in the same week. Just remember, a lot of folks are breaking with tradition these days. In other words, you better get a reservation.

Neighborhood Faves for Easter Sunday

The Ravenous Pig

The Winter Park gastropub has a Heat & Eat Easter Sunday dinner for 4 that you pick up on Saturday. For $125, you get house made ham with apricot glaze, cheese grits, glazed carrot salad with avocado green goddess dressing, pimento cheese biscuits, and olive oil cake with strawberry and Chantilly cream.

AVA MediterrAegean

In Winter Park, AVA adding a special Easter Sunday dessert for the day’s brunch, 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. “L’Agrume” (at left) features a large chocolate egg, pain de genes (almond cake), calamansi cream, candied citrus, vanilla ganache, sesame nougat, macaron, and pâtes de fruits (jellied fruit squares).

Market to Table 

Downtown Winter Garden’s Market to Table will lend its seasonal menu approach to an Easter Sunday afternoon prix fixe menu. Check with the restaurant’s social media as the day gets closer for more details.

Kaya

The Filipino casual fine-dining spot in Mills 50 is closed on Sundays, but turning Saturday night into an “Easter Feaster” with a special version of the restaurant’s five-course meal for groups 2-6 with party favorites.

Easter Sunday Dining at Hotels & Resorts

Grande Lakes Orlando 

At the Ritz-Carlton in Grande Lakes Resort Orlando, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Highball & Harvest’s Southern-inspired Easter Sunday brunch features traditional breakfast items (pancakes, omelet station, seasonal fruit, pastries) as well as raw bar, sushi, catfish, ham, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, roasted broccolini and carrots, and hushpuppies with heirloom tomato jam and creamed corn pudding. The meal is $120 for adults and $50 for children. Those over 21 can also add a bloody mary and mimosa bar for an additional $30.

ette hotel

Salt & the Cellar, the concept from celeb chef Akira Back is offering a special Easter afternoon tea in the garden with teas by curator Mariage Frères, plates, and live music 12 – 4 p.m. Easter afternoon tea is $75 per person.

Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

The breakfast buffet inside Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek is turning it up for Easter Sunday brunch, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. Options include huevos rancheros station, omelet and pancake/waffle station, and ham, eggs, fried green tomatoes station. The regular hot breakfast, pastries and desserts too. Adults are $32 (plus tax and tip), kids 6-12 are $20, and kids 5 and under are $8.

JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek

Sear + Sea is offering a four-course Easter Sunday brunch that’s $155 per adult or $49 for children under 12. First course is truffle egg custard with caviar, heirloom tomato salad, or shrimp cocktail. Second course choices include pain perdu (French toast) with kumquat jam, king crab benedict, or lox tartine. Entrée is juniper-rubbed lamb, shakshuka, hangar steak and potatoes, or ‘njuda (pork sausage) ranchero with duck egg. Dessert is carrot cake mousse or profiteroles.

UnReserved Food Bazaar, the marketplace restaurant at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek is having a Peter Rabbit Easter Brunch on Sunday with access to the hotel’s egg hunt. The buffet goes from 12:30 – 3 p.m. with raw bar, sushi, charcuterie cones and salads, breads, omelet station, seared scallop station, Florida black grouper, lamb, prime rib, sides, pastries and carrot cake crepe station. You’ll also get live entertainment, kids activities including the Easter Bunny, and a mimosa. Brunch is $135 for adults and $23 for children 4-10.

Japanese-themed rooftop bar illume has added several Easter bunny-themed cocktails, April 1- 10, including a carrot ginger martini, an Easter bunny chocolate martini, and a floral forward gin spritz.

Caribe Royale Resort

The breakfast and buffet spot Tropicale is doing an Easter Sunday brunch buffet, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. including tropical fruit display, smoked fish station, waffle and omelet bar, and a carving station with ham, lamb, and swordfish. Among the dessert options are chocolate peanut butter tarts with dulce ganache, carrot cake domes with vanilla bean meringue, and marshmallow and salted butter toffee gelato. The meal is $80 per adult and $25 for children ages 4 – 10.

Melia Orlando Hotel Celebration 

Inside Meliá Orlando Celebration, the coastal cuisine and cocktail restaurant The Wilson will do Easter Sunday brunch with a visit from the Easter Bunny. The buffet includes breakfast favorites, salad bar, pastries, sides, and carving station with leg of lamb, orange-glazed ham, and spicy honey glazed salmon. Adults get unlimited beer, wine, prosecco or mimosas. Kids get free juice, milk, or soda. The price is $45 for adults and $15 for children 3-12.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando

The Michelin-starred, Spanish-influenced Capa Steakhouse is doing an Easter Sunday buffet for the first time, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Options include seafood and raw bar, Mediterranean mezze (small plates), Spanish and Italian cheeses, paella, carving station with prime rib and rack of lamb, and traditional brunch faves. Desserts include everything from tiramisu to bunny carrot cupcakes. A special children’s buffet covers pigs in a blanket, flatbreads, Rice Krispie treats and more. Adults are $150 and children 2-12 are $55.

Plancha, inside Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club Orlando clubhouse, the Cuban-inspired lakefront spot will also have an Easter Sunday buffet, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Along with made-to-order omelets and breakfast favorites, the menu includes charcuterie and cheese, salad bar, seafood and sushi station, carving station with picanha (beef) and achiote-orange duck, adobo chicken, empanadas and more. The children’s buffet includes flatbreads, roast chicken, bacon and herb-crusted macaroni and cheese and Easter Bunny brownies. Adults are $110 for adults and $45 for children age 2-12.

Grand Bohemian Orlando

Grand Bohemian Orlando’s signature restaurant is expanding into the hotel’s fifth floor art galleries for Easter Sunday with live jazz and unlimited mimosas. The buffet includes oysters to order with seafood platter, charcuterie and cheese, chicken and waffles, breakfast skillet, fresh fruit, desserts and more. Prime rib, lamb rack, Florida citrus glazed ham, and omelets will be made to order as well. Easter Sunday brunch is $99 per person.

B Resort & Spa

Inside the B Resort and Spa on Hotel Plaza Blvd near Disney Springs, American Kitchen’s Easter Sunday brunch buffet, 12 – 4 p.m., includes French toast, biscuits and gravy, charcuterie and cheese board, roasted pork loin and sirloin, and fresh pastries. Price is $55 (plus tax and tip) for adults and $18 for children under 10. Adults can add bottomless mimosas for $15.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Four Flamingos is combining an Easter Sunday buffet brunch with small plates from the kitchen for one price. The buffet part of the meal includes seafood bar, lamb and Florida flounder carving stations, charcuterie, and ricotta pancakes with other breakfast items. You can also have two small plates from the kitchen including bagel and lox, steak and eggs, asparagus and crab Benedict, and tomato and goat cheese pie. Desserts include pies, pastries and cupcakes. The meal is $108 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under (with 18% gratuity). Grown-ups can add unlimited mimosas for $25.

Rosen Shingle Creek Resort

Near the Orange County Convention Center and the airport, Rosen Shingle Creek’s Easter Sunday Brunch, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., includes a 10 a.m. family egg hunt. The buffet menu has a salad bar, seafood station, bruschetta bar, sushi and dim sum, pancake and omelet station, street taco station and carving station with prime rib and ham. The meal is $89.95 for adults (including unlimited champagne and mimosas) and $37.95 for children 4-11. Prices do not include sale stax and $26 service charge. Self-parking is free.

Rosen Plaza

On International Drive, Rosen Plaza resort hotel is also cooking up an Easter Sunday Brunch, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Offerings include salad and antipasto display, seafood station, omelet and waffle bar, prime rib carving station, and buffet entrees including veal stew, rotisserie chicken, oat-crusted salmon, and chorizo-stuffed pork loin. Price is $55.95 for adults and $23.95 for children 4-11 (before tax and service charges).

Rosen Centre

Also along International Drive, Rosen Centre’s Easter brunch buffet, 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., includes unlimited champagne and mimosas. The buffet offers salad bar, antipasto display, seafood station, pasta station, breakfast station, carved leg of lamb, made-to-order steak tacos, and desserts including crepe station. The children’s buffet has chicken tenders, buttered corn, mac and cheese, and mini marinara meatball mozzarella. Price is $65.95 for adults ($58.95 for prepay) and $24.95 for children 4-12. Self-parking is free.

Disney Springs

Padddlefish

The riverboat-shaped restaurant at Disney Springs is adding an Easter Sunday menu item of braised lamb shank with cheddar grits.

Pointe Orlando

Taverna Opa

The Greek and Mediterranean restaurant inside Pointe Orlando is celebrating both American Easter Sunday and Greek Orthodox Easter on April 16. On American Easter, noon – 10 p.m., you get a free glass of house wine with any lamb entrée and belly dancers start at 7 p.m. On Orthodox Easter, the wine/lamb deal and belly dancing are back with a limited amount of tsougrisma available, the red egg game that involves trying to crack the eggs of everyone else.

The Oceanaire

The seafood spot at Pointe Orlando is offering several menu extras for Easter Sunday, including Nutella French toast ($26), lobster benedict ($39), whiskey-smoked salmon toast ($28), and Nueske’s triple-thick “bacon steak” ($16).

Rodizio Grill

The Brazilian steakhouse at Pointe Orlando is offering an expanded Easter Sunday buffet with shrimp, lamb chops, salmon and more, noon – 9 p.m. For the day, lunch and dinner are $54.99 per person for adults with the salad-bar-only price option of $44.99. Children 7-11 are $14.99 and 3-6 are $7.99.

JoJo’s ShakeBAR

The new restaurant, bar and shake shop at Pointe Orlando has a special Easter menu going until April 16. Seasonal specials include the Peeps & Cream milkshake, Funfetti Baked Hot Chocolate (with frozen soft serve), and, for adults, the Sundae Funday (vanilla vodka, hazelnut liquor and whipped cream).

Cuba Libre 

The Pointe Orlando Cuban restaurant and rum bar will have an Easter Sunday buffet, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., with special menu items including ropa vieja hash, salmón relleno, cazuela del mar (mussels and scallops casserole), and waffle and omelet stations. Drink specials include $8 bloody marys, $8 mimosas, and the $13.50 espresso rumtini. Adults are $39.95 and children 12 and under are $16.95 (plus tax, 20% gratuity, and 3% surcharge “to help offset fast-rising expenses”).

I-Drive

Tapa Toro 

Celebrating Spanish cuisine on I-Drive, Tapa Toro’s Easter Sunday brunch runs 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. with items including charcuterie and cheeses, breakfast with waffle bar, steak and ham stations, paella, sides, and seasonal desserts. Flamenco dancers will also perform. That’s $49 per adult or $18 for children under 10 (plus tax & gratuity).

Multiple Locations

4 Rivers Smokehouse 

All locations of the Orlando-based barbecue chain are closed on Easter Sunday but will have pre-ordered catering packages for pick-up on Saturday. Entrée choices are ham, brisket, smoked turkey and smoked salmon with side options including mac and cheese, baked beans, collard greens and green beans. There’s also the option of a $32.99 bunny cake (pictured up top). The deadline to make a pick-up order is 5 p.m. on April 5.

Metro Diner 

All locations close at 6 p.m. on Easter Sunday, but you can pre-order a heat-and-serve Easter Feast for 1 ($16.49), 4 ($61.99) or 8 ($119.49) that includes ham or turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans or street corn, mac and cheese or cornbread stuffing, and Hawaiian rolls.

Seasons 52 

In addition to the regular seasonal menu, the locally owned chain has menu extras both in the restaurant and for the catering/carry-out service they call Green Box. In house, the Easter brunch menu, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., includes crab and cheddar quiche, apricot-glazed spiral ham, and wood-grilled shrimp and grits. Easter Green Boxes feed 4-6 with choice of entrée, salad, two sides and six Mini Indulgence desserts must be ordered by Wednesday and picked up on Saturday.

Buca di Beppo

The Central Florida owned Italian chain is offering Easter weekend to-go packages for pick up, curbside or delivery from Friday through Sunday with Italian-style entrées, pasta, salad, bread and dessert. The restaurant will also be open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday with the traditional Italian menu.

TooJay’s 

The locally owned deli chain is doing both Passover and Easter specials. For Passover, Toojay’s locations will have 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. seatings on Wednesday and Thursday. The special menu includes starter (matzo ball soup, chopped liver or gefilte fish), sides of potato pancakes and carrot tzimmes, macaroons, and coffee, tea or a glass of kosher wine. Entrée choices are brisket, salmon with dill hollandaise, and half chicken.  Pre-order catering options for home are available.

On Easter Sunday, the special menu offering is a ham dinner with stuffed cabbage, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, baby carrots and a choice of red velvet cake or Mounds cake. Pre-order catering options are also available.

Rock and Brews

The rock-n-roll family restaurant, co-founded by KISS’s Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, has locations in Kissimmee, Oviedo, and near Orlando International Airport. For Easter Sunday Brunch, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., all three locations will be adding $5 bloody marys, $5 mimosas, and red velvet French toast to the regular menu. The Kissimmee location will also be cooking up chicken and waffles and a breakfast burrito.

Brio Italian Grille

The Tuscan villa-styled restaurant at Mall at Millenia is offering four customizable catering packages on Easter Sunday with Italian-style entrées, pasta, salad, bread and dessert. The restaurant will also be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Easter Sunday with brunch and dinner menus.

Bella Tuscany 

The Italian restaurant in Windermere and Ocoee has a usual Sunday brunch menu, but is switching over to a buffet for Easter Sunday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., featuring pasta, carving, omelet, salad, and dessert stations. The meal is $50 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.

New York Beer Project 

Winter Garden is the first location outside New York state for this brewery and gastropub. For Easter Sunday, the special brunch menu runs 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. with items including maple-glazed ham breakfast platter, brisket hash and eggs, crabcake Caesar salad, lobster mac and cheese, and Easter ham dinner.

Columbia Restaurant 

The Celebration branch of the Spanish-Cuban concept is adding a few special menu items for Easter Sunday including roast leg of lamb “Adela,” prepared from a family recipe with red wine, lemon, garlic and oregano. Other special options include a baked ham dinner and guava cheesecake.

Fleming’s 

The Winter Park location of the steakhouse and wine bar is offering a prix fixe three-course Easter Sunday meal. A petite filet mignon and crab-stuffed shrimp scampi with salad and dessert is $85. If you upgrade the scampi to lobster tail instead of shrimp, it’s $95.

Morton’s  

The Dr. Phillips steakhouse is offering an Easter three-course steak and lobster dinner, starting at $79 per person, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Starter options are Caesar salad, goat cheese salad, or $3 more for lobster bisque. Your main is an eight-ounce center-cut filet and cold-water lobster tail with a couple options to upgrade the steak. Dessert is key lime pie or crème brulé with hot chocolate cake for $6 more.
