Norman’s in Dr. Phillips is usually closed on Sundays, but Chef Norman Van Aken is staying open to offer Dad a $125 three-course prix fixe dinner. Options include compressed watermelon salad, Brazilian shrimp and mussel chowder, or octopus papa rellena for a starter; New York strip, salmon, or pappardelle with wild morel ragout as an entrée; and vanilla flanchoco cake, chocolate crème brûlée, or pistachio sponge cake for dessert. Wine pairings are an extra $55. Prices are before tax and tip.
