The Sugar Suite
Located in Maitland, The Sugar Suite is where baker Jennyfer Mancino has expanded her wedding cake business to a full-fledged bakery with Pastry Chef Nicole Giordano collaborating on sweets such as maple bacon whoopee pies, brownie pops with sea salt caramel and amaretto cupcakes. “When I opened in 2010, I only wanted to do wedding cakes,” says Mancino. But a growing customer base demanded more, so she responded with a new retail shop that also includes the party collection of “cute and simple birthday cakes,” she says. The Sugar Suite has a seasonal menu with six cupcakes daily, five desserts, the party cakes and one specialty item, such as a rose cupcake for Valentine’s Day. 1630 S.
