Buttermilk Bakery

Buttermilk Bakery, a family affair co-created by Taissa Rebroff, her mom (Lana Rebroff), and oldest brother (Phillip Rebroff), has wowed with a focus on small-batch pastries, including: croissants, kouign-amanns, hand pies, breads, and tarts. “We all love food and wanted to collaborate on a project together,” says Taissa. “It’s a way for us to challenge ourselves and create something we’re proud of.” Each of the trio come to the kitchen with different food backgrounds. “My mom is a self-taught baker who has taken various baking courses throughout the country. Phillip is a professional chef; he attended Johnson & Wales and has worked in many restaurants (including Cafe Boulud in West Palm). I’m a freelance writer who just got into the baking game last year.” Currently completely mobile, Buttermilk Bakery can be found every Tuesday at the Mills 50 Community Market from 5-9pm. “But we’re slowly expanding to different markets/stores and we can also take special orders via email at ilovebuttermilkbakery@gmail.com.
